Overview
UsNote is a private couples journaling app. Each partner writes privately. UsNote creates a personal reflection for the writer and, when both partners have written, creates a shared note from privacy-safe summaries. Private journal entries are not shown to your partner.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as email address and authentication identifiers.
- Display names you choose to show inside the app.
- Couple pairing information, including couple codes and partner connection status.
- Private journal entries you submit.
- Personal reflections, privacy-safe summaries, shared notes, tiny actions, and scrapbook visibility choices.
- Push notification tokens and notification settings.
- Subscription status and purchase-related information from RevenueCat and the app stores.
- Technical data needed to operate, protect, debug, and support the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide the app, create personal reflections, create privacy-safe summaries, generate shared notes, pair partners, manage subscriptions, send notifications you allow, provide support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and maintain the service.
Private journals and shared notes
Private journal entries are not shown to your partner. UsNote may process private entries to create a personal reflection and privacy-safe summary. Shared notes are generated from privacy-safe summaries, not raw journals.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate UsNote. These may include Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, database, and cloud functions; OpenAI or another AI service provider for reflection and note generation; RevenueCat for subscription management; Expo for push notification services; and app store providers for purchases and distribution.
Support/admin access
Authorized support/admin personnel may access account and technical data when necessary to provide support, prevent abuse, comply with law, or maintain the service. Access should be limited to what is reasonably needed.
Data retention
We keep account data and app data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security. You may request account deletion as described below.
Account deletion
You can request account deletion by visiting the Delete Account page or emailing subydevprojects@gmail.com. If you have an active subscription, you may also need to cancel it through the App Store or Google Play.
Children
UsNote is intended for adults. Do not use UsNote if you are not old enough to consent to use online services in your location.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice.
